How to see Clipboard History on any Android Devices
To be honest, we all
use the copy-paste option on our system and smartphones a lot. While working on
the internet many times we copy the things like text, images, and other content
and paste it somewhere on our laptop or pc which helps us.
In windows 10, it is
easy to access clipboard history, by simple pressing the shortcut keys. To get clipboard history
at any time, press Windows logo key + V. but it is not easy on
android phones, because stock android does not have any clipboard manager to
get clipboard history. By which we face a problem whenever we copy a new text
we will lose access to the older item. So we have to paste the old before copying the new.
To make this thing
right and to remove clipboard issues, we all know google has its own keyboard
application called Gboard for Android and iOS. It has a hidden clipboard
manager which lets you see all the copied items which you have copied before
Now we will see steps to access the clipboard history on
any android phones
In this blog, I will
tell you step by step process how you can access to your clipboard history on
any android phone.
Remember one things:
- Not every android phone have stock android. Now a day’s many smartphones
companies use the skin in android which we call Custom UI there are many
companies which use this lets take an example REDMI phones they are android but
they use MIUI, OPPO is also an android phone but they use COLOROS. We are using
Gboard as it work on every android phones
STEP 1:- Open
Google Play Store and search for Gboard here you are install the app. If it is
already installed make sure that app is updated to the latest version.
Step2:- Now copy
the text or anything you want to save in clipboard and paste it somewhere.
Step3:- After
this open the app where you want to paste the clipboard content. When you will
click on the empty surface keyboard will come up, and you will see the toolbar
at the top of keyboard, if the clipboard icon is not present in toolbar, click
on three dots. Select clipboard icon
Step4:- After
selecting the clipboard icon it will open the clipboard manager where you can see
all the list of copied items. If you want to paste any of them just click on
it.
Step5:- If you
want the copied item to stay while in clipboard. Just long press on the copied
item and select the pin option
Notes: -
- Gboard app keep the limited copied item. As you add new copies item, the older will gets deleted
- It does not support on android Go devices
