Apple iOS 14.5 Update Released with App Tracking Transparency & More
Apple has finally released its most looked-for iOS 14.5
updates. The iOS 14.5 updates are rolled out to iPhone and iPad users
worldwide. It is demanded that this update is one of the most important
mid-cycle updates by the company. The new software has been declared after the
launch of the new Apple product Air Tags.

What’s New in iOS 14.5 Update?
One of the most important features that has come with this
update is that it can unlock your iPhone while wearing a face mask. It
will the Apple Watch to unlock your device when you are wearing a mask. This
new feature has come after a year Apple brought a faster passcode speedy to
easily unlock iPhone while wearing a face mask. The users only need to look at
their iPhone with Apple Watch.
However, the new feature restricts the Face ID on the iPhone
X and later models couldn’t identify the user’s face because of the
mask.
iOS 14.5 has got the App Tracking Transparency feature
also. To use this feature, the users have to give permission to the developer
before sharing any information with third-party companies. When the user
will tell an app not to track you, it will stop observing you.
One of the things you should know is that every time you
download a new app, you will receive a pop-up notification asking whether you
give permission for the app to “track your activity across other companies’
apps and websites.” But you can also opt-out of tracking across apps you
download by going to Settings>Privacy>Tracking>
and toggling off Allow Apps to Request to track.
Another modification that is added is Siri can play
audio from a third-party app. Get the latest version of Siri, and ask to
play a song, it will ask you which app you want to use. Once you select the app
that will become a “default” option for Siri.

AirTag and Find My
• Support for AirTag to keep track of and find
your important items like your keys, wallet, backpack, and more, privately and
securely in the Find My app
• AirTag can be located by playing a sound via
the built-in speaker

• Lost Mode notifies you when your AirTag is
found, and you can enter a phone number where you can be contacted

Siri
• Siri now includes more diverse voice options
• Incoming calls can be announced with Siri,
including who is calling, when you're wearing your AirPods or compatible Beats
headphones, and you can answer hands-free
• Group FaceTime calls are supported by asking
Siri to FaceTime a list of contacts or a group name from Messages
• Emergency contacts can be called by asking

• App Tracking Transparency lets you control
which apps are allowed to track your activity across other companies' apps and
websites for ads or sharing with data brokers
Apple Music

How to Download the Apple iOS Update 14.5?
To download the latest update, open your device and go to Settings>>
General >> Software Update and wait for the device to check for
the update. Click on the update and it will take some time to download. Reboot
your device to install the update. Make sure you take an iCloud backup, just in
