rules. In such a situation, if Facebook, Twitter, Instagram do not follow these
rules then they will be closed.

Ministry of Electronics and IT, the Government of India gave a time of 3
months. In this time, instructions were given to regulate digital content.
Compliance officers, nodal officers, etc. were also asked to be appointed for
this. The central government said that whoever is appointed should have
jurisdiction in India. It was also said that social media platforms have to
monitor objectionable content, compliance reports and remove objectionable
content.
Social media platforms were also told that if any complaint
is received under the new rules, it will have to accept it within 24 hours.
Along with this, 15 days of indoor action will also have to be done. At the
same time, if action is not taken, then the reason will have to be given.
There were also some platforms that asked for a time of 6
months regarding these rules. Some of them even said that they have not
received instructions from their headquarters which is based in the US.
Koo followed the rules:
As of now, no other platform except Koo has followed the new
guidelines. Koo said in a statement, "Koo's privacy policy reflects the
requirements of the rules applicable to the Terms of Use and Community
Guidelines. In addition, Koo has supported an Indian resident Chief Compliance
Officer, Nodal Officer, and Grievance Officer. Diligence and Grecians have
implemented redressal mechanisms. "
In the event of expiry of the deadline by other social media
platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the government can take criminal
action against them.

Says - Government and Internet media operators talk among themselves and find a middle path
Shiv Kumar, teacher of P.S Arap, Bikram, Patna and founder
of Teachers of Bihar said that I have also received such information. He said
that through these platforms, we are constantly teaching children online in
Lockdown. Every day, a program of three to four hours was being broadcast from
this platform, and information was given to the people. The government should
talk to these companies and find a middle ground, not a complete ban. There is
freedom of expression in India. People used to get their feedback through
internet media. This is an important platform of Internet media, through which
we get all the information in the blink of an eye. He said that security should
be strengthened. Action should be taken on the wrong posters. The company
concerned should delete the post. Such an arrangement should be made. Facebook,
WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram have a large number of users. It is an
important tool to connect with people. Find out the path between the concerned
company and the government. If this is banned, then other sources of internet
media will be used as an alternative to it, which will be even more shocking.
He said that Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram should also follow all
the rules, which are applicable in the respective country.
